Policeman beaten up in Oyo state for allegedly causing accident (photos)

A police man was beaten up by people in Ogbomoso road in Oyo state this morning after the police vehicle he was riding in was accused of causing an accident in the area. The eye witness who spoke to LIB said the police van was chasing a taxi for reasons he doesn't know and the taxi crashed into another car and into the bush and burst into flames. 14yr old boy arrested by police in Texas after his homemade clock was mistaken for a bomb

There is a strong and angry reaction to this on social media with the hashtag #IStandwithAhmed. 14 year old Ahmed Mohamed was arrested after he'd made a clock at home and brought it into MacArthur High School in Irving to show his engineering teacher who congratulated him. Another teacher who heard it's beeping sound during class, saw it and believed it looked like a bomb, alerted school authorities who called the police.

Man with the largest feet in the world wants them amputated

26 year old Jeffrey Ortega wants his size 16 foot amputated after it swelled due to a genetic condition which leaves him in constant pain and unable to walk. Jeffery, who relies on a wheelchair to move around, was born with Proteus Syndrome, a rare condition that causes bones, skin and tissue overgrowth. The condition has also affected his hands, hips and legs.
