Vice President of Maldives Arrested Over Alleged Plot to Kill President

Vice-president of the Maldives, Ahmed Adeeb, has been arrested in connection with an alleged plot to kill President Abdulla Yameen.

According to BBC, Yameen and his wife narrowly escaped injury when a blast struck the boat he was using to return home from the airport on September 28th.

Reports state that security has been tightened in the capital Male amid fears that protests may be triggered by the arrest.

Another teacher who heard it's beeping sound during class, saw it and believed it looked like a bomb, alerted school authorities who called the police.

Man with the largest feet in the world wants them amputated

26 year old Jeffrey Ortega wants his size 16 foot amputated after it swelled due to a genetic condition which leaves him in constant pain and unable to walk. Jeffery, who relies on a wheelchair to move around, was born with Proteus Syndrome, a rare condition that causes bones, skin and tissue overgrowth. The condition has also affected his hands, hips and legs.
