Barely 24 hours after one Chindo Bello, a wanted suspected Boko Haram
member was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the
Nigerian military says it has arrested another wanted Boko Haram
suspect. A statement by the Nigeria Army spokesperson, Col. Sani Usman,
says that the wanted suspected terrorist, Ishaku Wardifen, was arrested
by vigilant troops of 23 Brigade Special Battalion at a check point in
Maiha, Adamawa State this morning.
According to Usman, preliminary interrogation revealed that the suspected terrorist is a Cameroonian citizen. Visual matching with photographs on the poster of the 100 declared suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list released by the Nigerian last month, shows that he clearly resemble the suspect on serial number 22 on the list. The suspect has been handed over to military intelligence for further investigation and possible prosecution.
